Description: Come One, Come All to the Big Top Circus at the 37th annual Ice Cream Social
The Victorian Circus has come to town and raised their tent on the President's lawn. To celebrate, the Harrison's are throwing an Ice Cream Social. Mix and mingle with the circus actors, like our stilt walking Uncle Sam, as well as members of Harrison's family, staff and friends.
Admission includes a walk-thru tour of the home of the 23rd President of the United States complete with visits with enactors. Children of all ages will enjoy attending a one-day Circus Camp where you can learn to juggle, walk the tight rope or balance a spinning plate. Children can also have their face painted, make patriotic crafts and explore the grounds on the Passport to History treasure hunt. The whole family will enjoy a variety of lawn games and the sweet Dixieland sound of the White River Jazz band playing live music!
Don't leave without a visit to the Declaration Depot for a visit with Thomas Jefferson. He will likely ask you to pick up the quill and sign your own name to this historic document.
One dip of cold delicious ice cream is included with your paid admission.

Visit with President Harrison, home for his party, as well as several other family and staff members. If your first or last name is Harrison, you will receive a special gift, but ALL are invited to join us on his special day.

Description: Our nation's capital is filled with patriotic spirit by day and the spirits of the past by night. Meet ghosts of such former political powerhouses as Abraham Lincoln, William Henry Harrison, James Garfield and Dolley Madison who are rumored to haunt D.C. to this day.
This performance progresses through the President's mansion as guests encounter different spirits in the many rooms of the home. Performances start every half-hour on Friday and Saturday from 6pm-8pm and Sunday from 3:30pm to 6pm. Each performance lasts approximately one hour.

**I think i remember that last time we went on the friday during "general public" hours to avoid the hordes of school kids, but wished we'd gone during school hours because everyone had gone on break and all demos & tastings were over by the time we got there.
